Many types of housing services for seniors are available based on your needs. Some common types include:

* Communities for active adults: These are independent homes. Usually outdoor maintains services such as lawn care, community road maintenance, Gym, swimming pools and walking trails are included in home owner?s association fees. There is long term contract involved. Advantage is that client gets life long continued care at a familiar place without having to relocate.

 

* Home care: health care services are available in your home from Home care agencies. You have to pay based on daily or hourly charges or even 24 hour basis. These services are covered by Medicare and are available for people with all income.
